DESCRIPTION
ANALIS R&D - Ceofix™ Method Development Kit

Ceofix™ pH is a general purpose buffer kit for capillary electrophoresis. The kit is available at different pH: 2.5, 4.3, 6.2, 8.2 and 9.2.

A simple dynamic coating procedure will generate a high and pH-independent electroosmotic flow. Mean characteristic is a reproducible separation over a wide pH range (1.5 to 11), a low analyte adsorption and a high EOF at low pH.

When using Ceofix™ pH or Ceofix™ MEKC the capillary will have no memory effect. It is then possible to switch from one pH to another or to MEKC without need to change capillary. This will facilitate method development.

The Ceofix™ pH permits the separation by capillary electrophoresis of

  • positively charged molecules such as basic drugs
  • amphoteric substances such as UV absorbing amino acids, peptides, antibiotics and proteins

The pH of the buffer can be adapted for specific separation. The buffer also accepts addition of non-ionic and amphoteric surfactants (not SDS) and other additives.

Ceofix™ Method Development Kit

Contains 60mL Initiator buffer and 30mL of Accelerator buffer at pH: 2.5, 4.3, 6.2, 8.2 and 9.2
